View Full Version : Adjusting draw length on Hoyt Magnatech
Just wondering if anyone could tell me how to increase the draw on a 2002 Magnatech. It is a solo cam model.
Thanks,
Memo

Gaday Memo...It looks the same as my Cybertech with a Versa cam...If it is you take out the small grub screw and then you can rotate the inner cam..when you rotate it to its furthest position in the - direction it is in the shortest draw length. Now you can move it in the + direction to the next hole available and so on with half inch longer draw each time.there should be 8 settings.Once this is done you can take out your draw stop peg and adjust it accordingly. There is a table to determine the correct position for this peg but with mine i just placed it where i was most comfortable with the let off.
If its not a versa cam i just wasted 10 minutes, but let me know your address and i can photo copy some pages out of my manual and send them to you if you get stuck..

Why thank you Jeff...And Memo...you can download the manual as well and save me copying it for you...

Sparra,
do I have to have a bow press to do this?
Memo...you can get almost all the adjustments without a bow press but if your draw length hole ends up between to the 2 limb halfs you may need one...

Thanks.
Is this the grub screw?
