I have been testing some of Rod Jenkins strings this year and the results have been very impressive. Not only his quality but mostly the performance boost a custom made string gives to any bow I tested them on.
The big diference is with the material and the strand count.
Yesterday I updated the "Great String" review with my results. We gained anywhere from 10 to over 20 FPS on the bows by getting rid of the standard Fast Flight and Dacron strings and replacing them with 10 strands of DF97.
Thats a lot of cheap performance .
The up date review is in my trad review section ,"Great Strings".
Some have said that the small string diameter is not comeforatable on the fingers, however if the serving is sized to fit the nocks there is realy no diferencethat I can feel.
Thanks Rod for all the strings and help.
