I need new shockies for my Hilux and not at all mechanical, even though I am going to fit them myself (I bet there are bits left over!)
Any suggestions on what brand are best? They are trying to sell me Pro Comp? at the 4x4 store.

Mate i just fitted Koni's to my Rodeo (expensive though at $240 each!). They are easy to fit - basically a bolt top and bottom and that's it. Just be careful whatever you do DO NOT RELEASE THE CLIP UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO GUIDE THEM IN. If you do you will have a hell of a time compressing them back far enough to make them fit!!

Cheers

I got pedders on my old land cruiser but didnt even get my truck home after they were installed and it never was the same... some prick in pedders thrashed the arse out of it while testing my shocks i reckon, it broke down 5 minutes from pedders, but they denied everything and it cost me a packet and my 4x4, as i was never confident from that day on to go bush in it

No Bull , just ******s !

Cheers, Cam

Go for the rancho 5000 they are pretty good and only cost $120 as there are no middle men or try the tough dog ralph best you can get.

Hi Dog, Fimfire here, I'm in the motor trade and I'm not saying that I know all . But if you were happy with the old ones for some years why not go standard , save a lot of money and buy a lot more grog and food.
