Hi Guys...

A couple of months ago I informed the group that I was moving from Brisbane to Cowra to be closer to my family... 8)

Many of the members kindly offered to show me around meet up and perhaps do a little hunting... You Guessed it since the last Hack I lost all the names :? :?

And on Monday week I'm hiring the Pantec and moving my stuff down to Cowra back here to Brisbane by the Wednesday to return the Truck, and go 4WD and camper trailer shopping (VERY HAPPY :D :D   ). On Saturday the 7th of May is my going away party/50 yrd Range dedication at the Grange Bowmen archery club Albany Creek (ALL WELCOME   ) and it will be licenced!!!

On the 8th of May Drive home to Cowra!! (9th of May sleep!!!) and then I'm keen to start looking for hunting blocks and meet TBGA local members.

Please remember I'm no Yahoo and if you invite me to hunt with you I'll never invite myself to your block and if you would like a Character Reference the ask Barry.

Well I've made it... Picked up my '01 Mazda Bravo Dual cab with tray back... Added a dual Battery system, Spot lights, new sound system and UHF Radio... GRUNT GRUNT... and drove all my crap to cowra.

I have spent the last couple of days catching up with the family and stuff and I'm now ready to go looking for a couple of paddocks... ...

I had a great send off at the Grange Bowmen Archery Club, Thanks to everyone who made it and for saying such nice things about me, I don't know who paid them but it wasn't me (this time :P )... Also apparently they applied so much beer to me that I got up and played guitar and did bad impressions... Hummmm.... Oh well as the man said "in 100 years who'll care!!!"

My going away present is to be a Cliff Turpin 50# longbow made with wood from when we built the 50 yard range at the club... How cool is that!!!

Well I still haven't heard from any of the locals on this group about going hunting... So I'll ask again, If anyone in the Cowra, Orange, Canberra areas would like to go hunting at some time give me a hoy and I'm ready to go!!!

Stuart, I've got a few contacts for you just up the road. Infact I just got off the phone to Dave Whiting and he is always keen for a hunt and more the happy to take guys hunting. A couple of our mates were hunting near cowra the other week on a property I hunt and the arrows something like 22 pigs the biggest going 29dp. the goats fallow deer and small game in the area are awesome mate.
