 Never met or spoken to Tink Nathan, but from his posts on other forums, my impression is, he's not shy about self promotion

Welcome aboard mate,I can't comment on his video making skills, but if they're anything like his people skills then he's in trouble. After speaking to him several times i have come to the conclusion that as previously stated, he is a ****. Plain and simple.

Matey.. he is a SHOCKING blowhard on Archerytalk.com who looks like Santa Claus. His .sig is about 20 lines long and he claims to be the first person to kill every game animal in the South Pacific. I've heard that some of them were drugged/caged though. Does that count?

Welcome onboard Brunths... I'll be interested to hear what his videos are like.

Mick.

Welcome to the site mate, just treat any hunting video you buy as entertaiment value, I have a fairly large collection of bowhunting videos full of information, I have a few instructional archery videos that are very good...Glenn...

My view of Tink Nathan, and some of his productions, is quite negative. About three years ago, I endured a viewing of his "South Pacific" Grand Slam video at my club and was completely shocked and disgusted by what I witnessed.

This production contained:

1. Clearly drugged animals (Fallow, hog deer, kangaroo and chamois)
2. Gut shot animals (Red and Rusa)
3. Animals who were hit in the head (due to bad shooting) (Buffalo and Fallow)
4. Driven animals (wapiti and tahr)
5. A buffalo shot off of a boat.
6. General disrespect for the game he was pursuing.

Further, I've had dealings with an individual who was involved in filming this disgrace. He has confirmed that Tink was more focused on getting his "Gram Slam" and filming it rather than engaging in fair chase hunting.

It's a miracle that the anti-hunting groups haven't picked up a copy of this video and plastered it across every current affairs show that would air it. Just shocking!

I have actually dealt with Tink personally and although I can't comment on His DVDs or hunting aren't personal attacks on people you may have never met best left as your opinions? Some people on this and other forums could be referred to as ****s too and have in the past based purely on what is seen written on the computer screen, this section if for reviews video, DVD how about an opinion on them.

Mike-dy,

You really need to get a copy of this to understand my position.

I'm not sure that I have actually attacked Tink personally, rather his conduct both in terms of how he hunted on the South Pacific Grand Slam video and the fact that he released it.

However, I don't need to met him to be quite critical of him given the dreadful quality of what he's produced with this video. While the video is quite dated there is behaviour (both hunting and production related) that wouldn't have been acceptable at the time...and certainly isn't in today's bowhunting community.

In regards to the video itself, my opinion/review is quite clear. It's a shocking piece of work, particularly in terms of its content.
As I stated earlier, get yourself a copy and I suspect you will better understand my position.

My best mate actually guided Tink on Buffalo and I think some of the footage used was from that hunt. He isn't a big fan of the bloke and reckons he could not shoot for ****, is over confident and self promoting as per usual Yankee conversation 'I, me and my'. He has a copy of the movie but refuses to let me see it. Judging by the posts here in relation to it's content he's probably too embaressed.
As usual the Aussie guys hold up the trophy check out Brad Smith, John Teitzel or Clint Picking's videos theyre all great.
