mick, scott also thanks for putting this together
pat :)
Yep, that's right, so if it's the first animal of that species you've ever shot, it has to be the best of that species you've ever shot...kinda double whammy if you get what I mean.

ur kinda losing me.....
do u only put in, say the best pig u shot this year
like if i shoot a 25pt pig tomorrow and its my best so far this year, thats ok..but if say two weeks time i shoot a 30 pointer i then can put that in, as that is my pb at the time for this year...
is that right, sorry if im missing something....
thanks pat :)

Pat it means if you shoot animal that is better than anything you have shot before than that is your best so far.....so it is possible for you to have a few PB's in the year as you may be a first time hunter moving up....
So multiple entries for the same species is likely..or many species..
So for example a new hunter goes out and shoots his first Hog & goat then he has achieved a pb in both species....new trip he shoots a better pig and it scores 25dp this can be recored as it is now his PB...He goes out again and shots a 28dp boar this is now his PB...he has 4 enteries for the year. And so on...
Hope that makes sense

You must beat your previous all time PB to go into the year that you beat it. PB is exactly that a Personal Best for that species and this is determined by Scoring. If you shoot a Nanny as a fist kill then that is your PB you go out next weekend and you shoot a Billy with 10inch horns then that is your next PB you go out the following weekend and your get a Trophy Class Billy then that is your new PB....You can have all 3 listed as they are PB's at that time.....The following year you go out and score a billy that is less than your best so no PB...but if you better it it get recorded hear as your new PB...
Hope this clears it all up.

mick thanks

Another question.
I have only ever harvested nanny goats before and now have shot my first billy. Does that make it a FKOS? or is fkos non gender-specific?

non gender

Puk
The nannies are FKOS. Your Billy is a PB, Now to get a new PB in Goats you need to better that monster....Good Luck
Species is non gender.

Hey Joel, I think your PB Billy date will stand for an eternity :P Unless that fella was only the son
I thought I would put a few pics up of the trophy that go's to the winner of the PB section for each year. As we all know Puk took it out for 2006. Puk will hang onto it until the winner is announced for 2007. Then that hunters name will be engraved on it and sent to them for the next 12 months, so on and so on.
