I got one off Clingish who posts on here for a mate.Send him a PM he might be able to tell you how to obtain one.
This is from a friend at OZ BOW
Arucaria Archery (www.atarchery.com.au) has horsebow like bows but they are not what I would call horsebows in the sense that they do not have static siyahs. His recurve shapes are similar to horsebow shapes. Mind you its pretty serious money for his bows ($500+ AUD for his bows) but they do look good.
The other alternative is to try to get from your local archery supplier a Samick SKB or SKH which have the korean horsebow shape. They are in my mind a modern recurve since they don't have static siyahs. An internet search with the above terms should give you an indication of what they look like. Alternatively there are suppliers around australia that might be able to supply them (try http://www.centenaryarchers.gil.com.au/archery3.htm ). I would suspect somewhere in the order of $300-500 AUD)
Then there is an australian importer (Cutting Edge Cutlery www.cutting-edge-cutlery.com) that can help out too with bows from Grozer, Kassai and others. I've only had experience with grozer bows and limited exposure to Kassai. If I was to get any of those I would go straight to the source (www.grozerarchery.com or www.easternarchery.com). I suspect that this australian importer gets them from Eastern Archery anyway.
Regardless you are probably looking at over $300AUD (minimum) for an imported horsebow inclusive of postage. Horn laminates for the bow belly will easily triple the price and a full traditional replica composite bow will set you back about $2500 to $3000AUD and take 1 year to make (minimum), assuming customs allows the bow to come into Australia. Chances are that they will but they could charge for irradiation treatment and quarrantine inspection/fees.
Hope this helps.
