They were not a hunting bow, but looking for a wooden-riser Herron bow, ANY condition, model, length or poundage. It was my first bow, and i would like to replace the one I passed on to another beginner... Yes, I'm nostalgic/living in the past. Any information on Herron bows would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Ant

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it was a target bow I had and was looking to purchase. It's possible I've got the name wrong. Do you have any other info.?

Greenlees is located close to Homebush Bay the site of the 2000 Olympic Games, in the suburb of Concord. Originally the club grounds were swamp land but had been reclaimed by the council in the early 1920's. Greenlees Park was named after Alderman Greenlees, who was elected to Council in 1925. Greenlees Archery Club was founded by Ross and Anne Herron upon moving into Concord as newly weds. Ross had been a member of Sydney Bowmen and in September 1953 commenced shooting at Greenlees Park, and continued shooting their until he passed away in December 1996. The Club is primarily a target club and has flourished over the years producing State, National and World class archers. Visitors are welcome and the club meets on Saturday afternoons from 12.30pm to 6.00pm. Beginners lessons are available from coaches throughout the year. Further information regarding club fees etc, can be obtained from the Secretary.
