Iam looking for a Morrell Yellow Jacket target butt. I found one at Cabelas. Does anyone know who may sell them here?
http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/horizontal-pod.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/pod-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21424&rid=&indexId=cat600346&navAction=push&navCount=1&parentType=index&parentId=cat600346&id=0024549
Thanks,
Bill

Can't help you with Aussie contacts CSS, but I've recently received a Morrell SS from Cabela's and the post wasn't too dear- I was suprised. It arrived in a week, too.

What do you think of it? What I have read has me impressed.

If it's anything like the SS... well the SS is still new, so it's a bit *too early to form a valid opinion. However,
Good points: it stops arrows. I mean, no cowpoo, two fingers is all that's required to pull out yer arras.
*Bad points: I've been practising at very short distance and the density of it knocks the nocks from the heavy weight arrows shot from my 55# recurve. Longer distances- no worries.
I would buy one.

Try Eagle archery in Brisbane mate, they deal in Morrel targets and should be able to help you. :D

By the way XT, I have the Morrell eternity bag target(older model of the yellow one pictured in the link) and it is a beauty, very durable and the only thing that wears out on them is the cover.

Replacement covers can be purchased from Morrell or you can make your own from feed bags.

XT try getting one from Cabelas, everything I have got from them has been 6-7 days! and including freight it has always been cheaper.

Yep, have to agree with Ken there- Although for all the reasons discussed before, I reckon a lot of us (including me) want to support Aussie businesses and particularly sponsers. Cableas? They are cheaper and have never made a mistake (yet) with my orders... but then they're like Kmart, etc.- they can discount, but have no expert advice, on-hand technical assistance or friendly, personal service. Too bad specialist shops aren't given financial incentives. Mail order- go with Cabela's or 3Rivers.

one of the best reports on targets has been those rienharts 18 s i think they call them, but i have seen a lot of blokes on the mathews us site talk about the morrels as well....

i just recieved a cabelas mdl broadhead target..from the first shot, using my switchy and outback, and just ur 2 blade woodys, punching striaght through at 20 metres.

now in one way its not bad as it pulls up the arrow with the broadhead just coming out the other side,so i just unscrew it then and pull the shaft back out,so be less damage that way. but i have to ensure i spray a little cooking oil on the shafts, man its tough getting out..seems to seal up ok..

time will tell.be interesting how it goes when i start using my longbow and wooden shafts,,

as for cabelas and ive been dealing with them for over 15 years,,,first time ever i had a package lost..wasnt cabelas fault was these dumb ass couriers in cairns, who after talking to me,still put it on the wrong plane to weipa, where another dumb ass courier driver, decided he would keep it in his van for 3 weeks and not tell anyone as he did not know what to do with it..lol

got it in the end...

but as above,i personally would check with our sponsors too,but some things they dont carry ,etc shop o/s as well...

good luck let us know how u go when u get her..

id like to try one of those aussie ones one day they advertise in cashys mag..

pat :)

Ive been dealing with Cabelas for so long now I forget. I never had trouble with them either. Not back in the US or when I order from here.
I just thought I would throw some cash around here instead of overseas if possible.
Next year when I come back from a visit home I should have enough stuff to keep me happy for a week or two.
By the way XT, I have the Morrell eternity bag target(older model of the yellow one pictured in the link) and it is a beauty, very durable and the only thing that wears out on them is the cover.

Do you shoot broadheads at it?
