During a club 3D shhot on Sunday, I sighted my target, got in position, drew the bow, sighted in, finger on the trigger, juuust about to release and on of the others says "your not aiming at that rock are ya?". I looked up and away went the arrow. As it turns out the "actual" target was about 90deg to my left and looked nothing like the large rock which decieved me. :oops: Maybe I should change my name to Magoo.

Nope, just hit the ground, tore off two fletches, broke the nock and bruised my pride.

Did you at least hit the rock and if so was it a 1 arrow kill or did you have to follow the screenings trail

well the 100DP plus goat got away from me @ 15m's...the rock...let's say it was most definitely dead...Me?...kicking and screaming on the ground like a 2 Yr old....esp after I had drawn on it @ 25m's and then let down saying to myself "nah not from here, I can get closer"...ah well, you live and learn...:(

Hey skip i missed two foxed at 12m my first arrow went over their heads and they just looked at where my arrow went, my second shot sent them running only to come back in 2 minutes and my third shot after making an estimation for my sights being out hit one fox in the head and the arrow shot straight up into the air after what i guess was the broadhead deflecting of his head and i ended up with squat and a red face.
