Latest BD Mag

Picked up the latest edition of Cashy's mag today, as usual I couldn't help myself and have nearly read it all already, I really should try to spread it out over a couple months. Well hope everyone else has got their's already aswell. Am definatly going to subscribe from now on as I'm pretty sure the newsagent staff are sick of me hastling them. Cheers, Phil.

Yeah mate subscribing is definately the way to go. I have a subsciption and I received mine last Monday, plus you get to go into the draw to win a guided hunt. :D

Yeah must say my ears don't prick up as much, need more trad input, I try to send as much trad pics/storys in as I can, the mag seem's to be laking traditional material of late.

Will put something to cashy next time we are talking though.

there is a definate trend going back to trad i reckon...

im waiting of my barred feathers to arrive,ive sorted and sealed 2 dz vic ash shafts,look out porkers....

i think cashy needs a bigger mag, to fit in all our requests...

A mate went for a walk (swim) last week end. Everything is still under 4 inchs of water, Mud did I say Mud, he passed two lads up to the sills in a hilux (poor buggers).

Won't be long now though.

Never did a storie for that one mate, leaving it to Ben, along with my deer hunt this year. But if he's changed his mined Ill put it to the mag. Don't have microsft word or anything at moment.

Bought my copy on the way to work, & read the review by Kel on the Leupold Wind River Binos as I had to call in on the way home , I checked these out. Very impressive, everything he says I agree with, particularly impressed with the diopter lock and as it was dark when I was there the clarity looking out into the carpark brilliant. These are going on my wishlist. As the budget was tight due to picking up my Switchback the week before off him.
Agree with Pat more content would be nice :D
But another great issue congrats to Cashy, congrats again to Dale on his new Darton.
Lets keep our support behind this great Aussie mag & we might read about more forum members in print.

I haven't recieve the mag yet, but I believe theres going to be a bit more of us soon too. Also a little bird told me theres going to be like a 6 page regular traditional section :D

The article "Rain Maker" by Wayne Noble, was worth buying it for alone, he is one funny dude, his last article called "Broken Arrows"really cracked me up.
Talking about Leupold bino's Ken, Rob Donnally has a great Leupold range finder, it measures to .2 of a metre, with too meny other features to mention.

I have been hooking into the mag since it turned up in the post box .As usual there isn't an article I have'nt enjoyed .The exploit's of Shell's hunt with Pat (Ausiebowhunter) was great ,I bet you are going to bust a gut trying to drop a bigger boar this dry Pat. :wink:

thanks clinghish,yes that was last year here on piccan inny,shell came up again and took some more boars,but she is mad at me as i took that 33pointer after she left..we ve plans for another trip for her,ya never know,lady luck may rise again..
