For those of you that don't know, in the last issue of Bowhuntig Downunder I had my story of the Sambar I shot published. It was a story I wrote 9 months ago. This issue I found out I had won a new bow for my troubles!
My bow arrived today, 4 days after Calling Anthony At ARCHERY SUPPLIES in Canberra and giving him some spec's on draw length and poundage. What arrived was a new model Darton Marauder, Trophy Ridge Micro Matrix sight, Trophy Ridge Drop Zone Hunter rest, Bow Quiver and 1 Doz. 55/80 CT Rhinos.
This setup is only 32in. axle to axle and will make a nice upgrade from my 5yr. old Maverick (it wont be retired).
I would like to thank Graham Cash and Archery Supplies for making this all happen. Hopefully there will be another story featuring my new dart thrower shortly.

It was a Darton that got me into bowhunting, and while i don't own one anymore, i sure have a soft spot for them.
I bet you do now too, hey? :lol: :lol:

Hopefully it will go for a walk on the long weekend looking for a Sambar or Fallow as long as it behaves itself, if not ol' faithful will come along. (The new one will probably find a way to come along as well!)

Congrats, Dale! You must be a happy camper. I've always been curious about the Trophy Ridge sights... particulary the vertical pins. What do you think of it?
