Found a rub tree

I've been doing a bit of scouting around my house (about 5 min away) for some Rusa with no luck yet but I did find this rub tree and some freash prints on Sunday. I'm keen to get a few photos of these ones as they are on some very public land.

There are plenty of good rubs around now and nearly all the stags are rubbed out. I've seen a couple of different stags play sparring, so they are already warming up for the rut. Can't wait.

Yeah I can't wait. I'll start to do a fair bit of walking now to try spot some.
