View Full Version : New Arrows
The guy I made these for just asked me to fletch up some arrows but when he saw them he didnt seem to mind the bit extra.

I get a bit bored with just putting them together plain.

They look pretty flash Kim, do you spray clear paint over the colours again?...Glenn...
They look great it's no wonder he didn't mind them. :D

No Glenn I dont bother with the clear as this guy shoots pretty well so the fletches will get ripped and will need to be replaced anyway, when this happens I can just clean them off with some thinners and redo them.
One thing I love about the trad style is the arrows I used to make with the cresting and stuff so to get a bit of a fix after making probley 10 doz arrows in the last month or so I couldnt help myself.....HE HE.
Thanks for your kind comments.

Kim does the paint add much weight to the arrow????????

Gaday Kim...do you paint first and fletch last or fletch first and paint last????
I paint first and then wait a couple of days for the paint to dry nice and hard. The paint only adds a grain or so to the weight of the arrow so it adds less weight than the wraps that you can buy to put on the arrows.
