Hi guys,
i posted a topic a while ago about the different choices of recurves on the market. has any one had anything to do with the Hoyt game master. I have heard some great reports about it. One guy i was talking too has traded his beloved martin hatfield in on one. he recons you cant't compare the two bows. i recon it is the camo limbs and riser that puts me off the style of this bow. Just looks a bit out of place .
Thanks in advance for any of your feed back.
Regards,

I haven't seen the latest Game Master but this bow has been around for a long time. They use to be one piece recurves, there were a lot of them used back in the seventies and eighties...Glenn...

A coupleo fthe guys at the club have the 2005 model and swear by them as great shooters. I had a shot of one of them and they are a very smooth drawing bow with minimal hand shock. I'd have one if the wife would let me.

I see some Gamemasters for sale on the American eBay site and tradgang.com forum occasionally.

They are good shooters but tend to be on the noisy side and are quite heavy.

Well Hood if you are good looking with a sexy girl voice you can call me wenever big boy.
Anyway the gamemaster I have is a 2005 model with vtec riser , as with any bow it took some adjustments to quieten it down for hunting .
A couple of limbsavers and a set of cats wiskers and it is wispher quiet.
It shoots fast and consistent and is a lethal bow .In comparison to my border black douglas it is only marginally heavier but it still ways heaps less than a compound. You can do modifications if you want to and there is a fair bit of info on some of the american sites .In my humble opinion they are a very nice bow and they are produced by a very reputable company :!:

Thanks for your views clinglish. The going rate for these bows seems to be around the $690-00 mark. I have not found them any cheaper. i will give you a call sometime to discuss your modifications. I reckon if I go for one of these i would like the black riser with the timber limbs.
