Gaday fella's...My new second hand checkmate turned up from the states today after only 6 days...great service....Anyway it is a takedown hunter 2
and I have never owned a takedown before so can someone tell me if it makes a difference which limb goes where????
Thanks...Sparra

Yes it does matter sparra.
The limbs should be marked top and bottom or only fit on one way.

G'day Sparra- we own the same bow, brother! The one with the CheckMate sticker on it ALWAYS goes on the bottom (hence "bottom" limb). Top is top and bottom is bottom because the tillering of the bow necessitates the top and bottom limbs to bend slightly differently to each other. I'm sure Glenn and others will explain the concept much more clearly than I. What are the specs on the bow? What arrows set up are you going to use? Congratulations,
Ant

Gday Sparra. Did you buy this bow from Chad at check mate, or did you get it of an internet site. I have been researching these bows. They sound good. I have also been looking at the Hoyt game master.

Gaday Bowtown...I got the bow off archerytalk...I was going to order a new one but found this in as new condition and saved about $300.00..
Mick...I will take it up there but I think everything is safe for a while...
