I made this up today. Bloody sick and tired if the 2pce bow quiver, so I modified it somewhat. What do you think?

That's a great idea skip.
I am sure you will give those nocks a hard time for a while, but every system has something you have to learn to live with.

Looks good Skip....Can you easily access your arrows in a hurry???
If an arrow or 2 drops out you won't notice it gone and if you need to squat or sit down in a hurry they could be a problem...
Regards...Sparra

I made sure I can access the arrows with my non-master hand (left). The shaft grips are angled to the left (I am left handed).

I have made sure I can crouch and kneel without nocking the knocks.

The shaft grips are bloody tight , so falling out shouldn't be a prob.

It looks good  . The only suggestion I can make is to mount your knife differently. If it falls out and you stand on it your stuffed  . And yes I have seen it happen. My mate was warned and said it would never happen. But I am sure he dident enjoyed the expierance.

It is a diving knife, that means it locks in and is released by the button you see on the scabbard. ie. not a chance.

Getting them back in will be a pain
Who cares? When have you ever been in a hurry to get them back in?

Looks like a great little set up skip , i sure feel sorry for those "rocks" around darwin

You might want to try around Alice, ive heard there's a big rock out that way!!

Seriously tho it looks good, just give it a good practice run in the bush before you go for a hunt.

Cheers, Cam

Just an update. I have tried it out in the field (club 3D Shoot) a couple of times and it works a treat. I have not knocked about the nocks, or got it cought on trees etc. I have found the inability to replace the arrows without taking the contraption off my back, a minor inconvenience only (who is ever in a hurry to get them back in to the quiver). All in All very successful.

Looks good, I reckon I'll have a go at doing that.
One small problem I have is that my Camelback is flouro .D'oh!
