Hi Guys & Gals,
Just opened my parcel today that contained my Safari (Mathews)  .
I think the boys down south had a bit of a gag as she was left on 100#  . Nearly blew a gasket, wound it back to a respectable 85# and having no trouble drawing that... 8)
Just going to setup;
NAP 2000
Arhcery Speacialty 12" Doinker
Sword Acu Sight Apex Mirco 3rd Plane
and a tube of hemroid cream for precautions...
Pictures to come, of the bow, not of my face trying to pull it.
100lbs
Hope you know a good shoulder surgeon
im very interested to see what it looks like :!:

Tried a 100# bow once. Was no problem drawing it back and holding. When I let it down however my right foot ended up in my mouth and the left some place else not allowed to be mentioned here and felt like I was playing twister.

Hold on to ya panties boys, piccys will be posted monday.
just set her up today backed her down to about 77# so I can run my whitetails out of her, and ready to take it for a walk tomorrow.
65% letoff at 77-85# feels more like 20%, mind you im shooting her 2" under my draw as Im wainting for my 31" cam to arrive.
First couple of shots all over the place, last 3 after sighted were sweeeeet!!
No reocil, very smooth bow to shoot. Mind you she is a monster with a 38.25 AtoA. But again I must admit Im like a dog with 2 Sausages, dont know which one to lick first.........trasnlation, very very happy! :P :P :P

As XT freak mentioned to me when he had a peek at my bow. There are alot of telephone poles I can use............ Just have to raid them at night, and second trying to find a fletching jig for them  If I did go for a telephone pole, I think I would use 75 x 2" blazers and a 2 doz 130grn woody supreme.
In the mean time, chasing down some 100# Pro Hunters, seems to be not a popluar arrow weight, but Im sure we will come up with a combo to suit / thereabouts :P
Are you planning an African safari soon or have they re cloned the dinosaurs...??. The biggest and arguable toughest game in Aus I would expect is the bufffalo...yet many have been taken with bows of a lot less weight that what you expect to be shooting. Also in drawing something too heavy it may ultimately reflect in your form & accuracy...means little if thats the trade off to shoot a 100# IMO :D

Only Driving 55/80 Carbon Tech Whitetailes out of the Safari so far at just over 80#. @29" it will be 31" when the cam arrives. So I best go seek out some big spined arrows before then

Hey Pat,
Hows ya snake bite?
As for the bow, she is weighty, but I was so surprised in what a dream to shoot. I left me doinker at home, idiot I am, but even without very smotth. When think did notice with her is when shes wound down to 77# she is notice as quiet as at 85#. You do notice that base sound from the string, but I guess when that sound reaches mr piggies ears, the arrow has already said hello
Pictures to be uploaded soon

I should have been more specific, let me paint the picture for ya,
Big Willy and Myself, (2) men vs 10,000 Red Meat Ants!!!! :!: :!:
Its was like the war in iraq, sent in the air attack soften em up, then went to get the arrows and...... as the japanese would say "Hori Ship" they were everywhere!!!!! Got the arrows out and the bastards had eaten about 2" of the shaft. Big Willy had an idea of covering himself in Honey and lettin the ants do the rest  but time was against us, plus that was a different story :P

Fun....Fun????? :? :? :? :? Bow Hunting or Ant Hill Hunting is not meant to be fun. Its a choir, Its work by no means is it meant to be fun :!: :!: :!: .
Unless, you working over 60hours a week, ya best mate asks you to jump in the car and go for a 770km round trip in 24hrs to try out ya new bow, now that was fun
Onya Big Willy :!: :!:
A star picket and three ducks will make a fine arrow for it, it will be the 44 gallon drum quiver that will prove a little difficult to attach to the bow
what is the IBO rating for that bad boy?
Bow Hunting or Ant Hill Hunting is not meant to be fun. Its a choir, Its work by no means is it meant to be fun .
Real, if bowhunting for you is a choir, then a catapult up on it's end for a bow isn't going to help you much. I mean, who takes a group of singers witht them when they bowhunt? They would scare all the game away.
Leave out the Sopranos and altos, and hunting might be less work and more fun.

I disagree Puk, most Ants I have seen have a very good syncronised system in place and a little music to keep time to might be in order. Any way don't be ANTi the choir until youv'e sung a verse in their tune.
Pied piper got rid of the rats remember.
Could also be a new twist to tuning the new bow...

Right class HANDS ON HEADS!! This is getting silly now! Real- you must write, "I will achoir a new species of prey, preferable reptile, crustacean or Mistusbishi" 100 times before little play tomorrow or SEE ME AFTER SCHOOL!!

Ya should have fixed the typo Real !
I really don't think they could see the severity of the situation with out having been there, should get Spielberg to do a movie about it, was I day I wont forget in a hurry, I still see the Huge red mass of killers coming at us.
Just Glad you had the Safari to keep em back while we made it to the vehicle.

I had it all under control Big Willy, after that can of steak n mushrooms ($2.50) and lamb n vegies (same cost). I was ready to lay a entrapment cable giving us time to evade with our lives, I called it the last alamo :!: .
I jumped on google earth last nite, and there was still a lot of activity comming from that area, looks like they are on our scent and comming to get revenge
The Hunter is becoming the Hunted
