At 40 metres the young 3x3 and his group of girls were obviously nervous but with the wind for once in my favour the deer continued to feed down the fenceline as they had so many times before. As they neared the 20 metre mark and with the freezer nearly empty of venison I picked out the nearest yearling doe and as she turned broadside to browse on the over hanging branches I drew my hoyt only to find that the black peep tubing had perished and I had no sight picture. I slowly let down but a closer previously unseen doe caught my movement and alerted the mob of the danger and took them back up the fenceline and over the horizon.

I contacted Luke by P.M once I got home and after a quick reply he had some of the Super Peep Tubing in the post the following day.

While field testing the Super Tubing against the conventional black tubing I found that while Luke's tubing is a little bulkier than the black tubing at even my longest hunting distance (40metres) the point of impact only dropped 2 inches which is a small price to pay for such a high quality product that has been on my bow for the last 12 months with no signs of wearing out.

So if your looking for a better more durable alternative to the black peep tubing then send Luke a P.M and for just a few dollars you can try the Super Peep Tubing you won't be dissapointed.

Happy Bowhunting
Gavin.

2" at 40 meters That's a lot

How much arrow speed to you need to lose to drop 2" @ 40m?
Which then begs the question how much retained energy is lost @ 40m?

I don't think my P.O.I. dropped at all when I fitted the Super Peep tubing.

I like aussiehunters train of thought, I really cant the difference in peep rubber making that much difference. Personaly I dont use self al. peeps as the rubber frustrated me, flether peep the go!
