Trophy Takers Membership
In order to join and rate game with Trophy Takers there are two conditions that hunters must meet:
1) Hunters must provide a scorable trophy (Goat, Boar or Deer) taken with longbow, recurve or compound bow under fair chase and open range conditions for rating. Trophies must be scored using the unchanged Douglas System by an accredited scorer that is recognised by Trophy Takers (i.e. TT, ADA, ABA accredited scorer’s). A scoresheet plus photo of trophy must be supplied with membership application.
2) Applications for regular membership must be endorsed by a current or past Trophy Takers member.
Regular Membership
Initial joining fee is $30.00 for one year which entitles you to:
4 ratings of any species per year (eg. Boar, Feral Goat, Deer or Buffalo, Small game)
A black and White embroidered cloth badge of Trophy Takers,
Membership Card,
Certificates and print outs for all ratings,
Quarterly Newsletter, and
A personal invitation to the Annual Awards.
Any additional ratings will be charged a nominal fee of $6.00 each.
Family Membership
Initial joining fee of $30.00 plus an additional fee of $10.00 for each member of the family with a rating. Each member of the family receives the same package as a regular member.
Associate Member
Fee of $20.00 for 1st rating, $15.00 thereafter. The first rating entitles you to a rating certificate and computer printout. Additional ratings entitle you to a rating certificate and computer print out.
As there is a need for family involvement, family members can join Trophy Takers as associates without a rating, the applicable fee for the facility is $10.00 (if a newsletter is also required, there is an additional $5.00 fee).
Both associate members receive a yellow and black embroidered badge of Trophy Takers and an Associate Membership card.
Membership Renewals
A regular membership fee of $20.00 for a one year renewal or $50.0 for a three year membership.
