Gday guys,
I currently own one of these bows. My father bought it in 1982 and i dont know much about it. It is an American bow. All i know is that it is 55lbs and the brace height is 8 1/2 inches. It is a very smooth bow to shoot with very lil vibration. Whats your opinion on this bow? Are there any internet sites for this particular brand?

I haven't heard of this bow before. Do you know who the manufacturer was? Failing that, perhaps you could post a photo of it. :?
I'm not much help, sorry. Maybe Glenn or another member will be able to help you. :)
Mick
Trykon is your bow a longbow or a recurve, I think Howard Hill or John Schultz use to make a cheetah longbow and I'm sure Martin produced a Cheetah recurve at one stage...Glenn...

Gday mate, its a recurve. Its not made by any of the popular brands like martin or anything like that. Cheetah is the actual brand name.

I've never heard of Cheetah brand before. There has been so many good bowyers in the USA that nobody ever hears anything of, a lot of good bowyers went to the wall with the the coming of the compound bow. Looks like a very nice bow, is it still in original condition?...Glenn...

Ah k. Yeh cos i read somewhere that its an american made bow. And its got a american logo on it, saying American Archery. Its in original condition still, as good as new. Dad takes great care of it. lol. its his lil toy.
Are you sure it's not an "American" brand bow?
This was an actual brand some time back...not that it was made in America but by a company called "American Archery".
