Hi guys do any of you use home made targets? If so what did you use to make them and how did u make them? I have made a target using cardboard plastic pallet wrap more cardboard and carpet underlay. Would love a slightly better quality one tho if anyone has any ideas/suggestions. Thanks guys and girls.

There has been a few posts about target butts, you might want to look into some of the other catagories.
Personally i use pretty much the same as you. I manage a hardware warehouse so cardboard boxes and shrinkwrap / pallet wrap isn't hard to come by.
A cardboard box stuffed with shrinkwrap ( and i mean stuffed) stops even razor sharp b/heads. The shrinkwrap wraps around the shaft and stops it dead, aslong as the wrap is nicely compressed into the box.
The only problem i have found is that the shrinkwrap tends to melt to your shafts so they need a quick wipe after 4 or 5 shots, but thats no hassle. Its free, easily replaceable and it works great!
Good luck with it  and welcome to the site. Have fun !
Cheers, Cam

How does that work-sounds different.
there is a company in weatherall park called marfoam who will sell you a wool bail full of offcuts from there factory for about $20 have had one for 5 years and it is still going strong only good for field points :D

With target tips it works well...but with broad heads it makes a bit of a mess..but all in all..it makes a definate thud when it hits and the bails tend to stop the arrow from going all the way through...
