I have just finished a book that I believe would be a benifit to any of us that chase the ellusive Sambar deer.The book Walking Them Up is written by Ken pearce a ADA long time member with input also from Arthur Bentley who wrote An Introduction to Deer In Australia another brilliant book.Although Ken is a rifle hunter this book covers many aspects of the sambar,habitat,preferred vegitation,and areas the sambar has been sighted in right up into NSW the astute reader will gain a lot of knowledge from this book as I know I have.The photos in this book range from the spoils of the hunt to sambar in their own enviroment.
