I'm just wondering if there are non-traditional bowhunters on this forum who use alloy arrows for hunting?

Although I've been shooting carbons for years, I've still got a heap of 2219s and am too cheap to throw them out. Thus, I'm going to use them on my next pig trip up north.

Would be interested in any feedback.

There is nothing wrong with Alloy arrows Jake, I actually find them to be a little more forgiving than carbons.

I also use alloys 2315's and hunt deer with them and they work fine. my mate uses the 2219's and also has no problems with them. I have in fact just bought some new Easton Full Metal Jackets, whcih are the carbons wrapped with alloy so you have the best of both worlds. I have heard some good things about them so have just made a dozen up and will have a go with them.

Save 'em for your daughter! Trust me, mate- they grow so fast!
I'm sure I'm not the only bloke who feels carbons are still a 'new' thing... shoot 'em Jake- and invest in a straightener, too.
