View Full Version : Africa At Full Draw
Just bought this DVD on ebay, just wondering if anyone has seen it before.
What do you think of it?
thanks

Received the DVD yesterday and watched it. a lot of footage and things that i wouldn't really think bowhunters would do say.................hunt elephants!
I had no idea that elephants could be hunted with a bow. this was a 100# however and about 1200 grain arrows!
all in all it was quite good and i advise that if you get the chance to see it, go for it.

well everyone has different thoughts on game they wish to hunt ,be either with rifle or bows.
ull find that the elephants that they hunt over there are either problem elephants or that area has a large population that need to be kept in check and one method is allowing hunters with the big bucks to hunt them..
as for taking a while to kill, just like any other animal, if u dont put ur shot right on the money,it can happen..but they have done the right thing and followed it up and finished with another arrow,.
this can happen to rifle or bow hunters.
ask urself, have u taken all ur game with only one arrow?
thanks for ur review

pat :)
good point Pat but i'm still sticking with my own personal preference and opinions about hunting elephants with a bow.
Overall though, it was a really fantastic DVD, very pleased

mate,ur totally right in doing so...personally i have no thoughts of wanting to kill a elephant, rhino etc,or even a lion....prob cause id be ****ting me self :D
but hey ive got no objections if someone else does, lkegally, ethically etc...
what ever floats ya boat...
cheers pat :)
If other ppl want to do it i have no objections.
It was great when they took the lioness from a ground blind only 15 yards away. I tell you what, i would not like to be 15 yards away from a maneater!!
cheers
