View Full Version : wots a good release aid?

hey i was talkin to a friend bout getting a release aid and he said drop a post so thats what ill do.
8) :lol:
im looking for a good release aid. i dont want anything that will prematurely release but is a good one and can be used on my 35 pound fred bear little delta. if anyone had any good ideas theyd be great. looked at spending bout 80- 120 bucks,(its for my birthday so not my money lol :lol: :twisted: :evil: )

Mate look at the Tru Ball Stinger it is a top release for hunting as you pull the trigger and it opens and you let the pressure off and the jaws close silentley on to your loop.They are very reliable and are only about 65 bucks.I used one up to 70 pound with no miss fires.

Any of the Scott Releases are good, I have Scott Shark, Itty Bitty Goose & the new Wildcat.

when people pay 120 bucks compared to 65 wots the differnece in them ?

The same as a $1200 bow & a $600 bow, you get what you pay for quality in components & workmanship.
The better quality release aids operate smoother, more adjustability & if looked after last for many years. All said buy what you can afford & enjoy. :D
