I'm after some advise on vanes for carbon tech Rhino arrows. I haven’t used carbons since they were skinny and solid. I currently use 5 in vanes on 2317's using a 100 grain 2 blade head.
The arrow length is 29 inch and I win be using for hunting only.

Any info on what you use or recommend would be a help. Also what glues use on vanes and inserts for carbons.

Thanks Guys, John.

Just use normal glue, flechtite or arrowmate work really well or the super glues all work on CT shafts mate.

Also you might consider this 3 x 2 inch blazers vanes are 14 fps quicker than 3x5 inch vanes, and will stabilize a quality BH when they are made up with a helical clamp.

Check out my Tribute to the test thread to see the specs.

3 x 2 inch blazers vanes

Work very well for me John.

I only use an offset straight jig and they still control superbly.

when i saw the post i thought you meant what vanes are good to HUNT rhinos :P My bad!

i use loctite 401 for fletching and that works pretty good but the others that Peter mentioned work great too. As for inserts i got permepoxy. weird name but sticks the inserts like concrete!

cheers
