Mate we have quite a few species of Deer, these include Red, Fallow, Chital, Rusa, Sambar, Hog. Also Fox, Rabbit, Feral cat, Goat, Feral Pig Wild Scrub Bull and Buffalo, the last 2 not to be taken lightly. They can get a bit stirred up these blokes. To get a good idea of some of the quality of game have a look in the best of photo's section. If you want to hunt some really good pigs I would suggest the top end of Australia. Around where I live in Walcha NSW we have Fallow, Rusa, a few Reds, a Lot of Feral Goats and Fox's. The pig numbers are not like they used to be but Iam told they are on the increase in certain area's. Cheers mate, keep in touch. Scott

Hey u all
So at time of the year is hunt done your part's?

In are part's best for Elk would be in mid September for rut, then again the last part of November.
The bull are back in bachelor groups more cold & snow so they come down off mountains.

As for whitetail deer they start rutting about the third week end in October but the best time his late November is that would be the in the rut.

Mule deer usually rut a little later it at it best last 2 weeks in November.

The Turkeys & bear best time is spring April, May then again September through November.

If I guy could draw a tag there is some good Moose, Mountain Goat, Big Horn Sheep. Those hunts run from September through November.

Which I did draw Vermont Moose tag!!!! HOT DAMM

Of course would have a wide variety of waterfowl, & a variety of chicken size game Birds.
Also predators red & gray fox, coyotes.

g'day guest. most hunting here in oz has no seasons. perhps only 2 types of deer have a season. we have no bag limits for most game. again, perhaps only 2 deer species. what we lack in variety, we make up for in numbers.....in the right areas. i'd reccomend the top end (darwin). pigs in huge numbers, buffalo, scrub bull, banteng (buffalo), sambar, dingos etc. and the fishing........barramundi, you name it. do a google search on hunting the top end. theres some great pics out there.

What state in the US are you hunting? I just got back from 4 weeks chasing elk in oregons public land. Do you have access to private land for the elk? Can trade you Fallow, sambar or red deer, pigs, goats or something more unusual like camels, donkeys and brumby's if interested.
