hey ive just recently changed to sites from barebow and i have been shooting for about 5 months and i thought sites would make me better. WRONG :x :x :x :x :x
anyway i was wondering if anyone had any tips as to how to shoot sites. i can get them to shoot good groups pretty close sumtimes but other times the just go all over the place and i dont know why? :?: :?: :?: :?:
is there sumthing im doing wrong?
i had the same probem when i switched to sites. my groups were spaced out everywhere from only 10m. i changed my kisser button to a peep (this has helped a lot). it may be that you need to tune your bow. also my form was varying from shot to shot so i was never shooting good groups.
hope this helps

i shoot fingers but i dont know that its my release cos i get a good release (u no how u can tell) it doesnt fishtail or porpoise it just doesnt hit right. i might try tuning it a lttle more?
cheers
Try to have your anchor point exactly the same every shot, i had a little trouble with my release hand drifting out a little bit and the arrows started to spread all over the place. Just a thought.
Mate i had the same drama
i went from bare bow and fingers to sight and release,
sometimes i would group OK  and then i could not even hit the but,
i installed a peep and got into it
i had to forget any of my old form and start over it took some work i tell you.
I backed my bow right off to slow things down a bit and also save on lost arrows once i found some form i just cranked it back up bit by bit. now i can hit the mother in laws cat with a blunt 30 to 40 yards out every time
