My first billies taken last week of June. Only small but make a nice hat rack. First taken at 10 yards and the other with a raking shot at about 15yards using the outback hunters.

"here's one im letting grow"
10 minutes earlier mum and dad galloped up out of the scub, then i stumbled onto junior (50cm at the shoulder). i quietly backed up and got my camera out. when i went back to take the photo he was lying like this.
Looks like he's had a hard day at teh office
Great pic I bet your heart rate went up a bit at that point.

Well, it's not exactly a "game taken" fota, but today I was stoked to find my first shed here in Japan from one of the local mob of 'sika' deer (Cervus nippon). I've seen a much bigger fella than that pictured in the same region... Would you say the shape resembles any species found in Australia?

Bill- just put the new VT string and cable on Bill (William The Conqueror- the XT), got everything deadnuts in spec.- took him up the bush for a shot and thought, "WHAT WAS I THINKING?!?" wanting to sell this bow... apart from getting some funds to buy more gear!!
BOW ADDICTS UNITE!!
Great Photo's
That sika antler would best be described as a rusa X red deer i guess!
Sika, wish they'd taken off here in Oz!
