Humbling experience.

Well guys after a 15+ layoff from the bowhunting scene I decided to get back into it. Went shopping,came back with a Reflex Highlander and all the good bits, been practising a bit for the last few days, got the 10 and 20m pins sorted and was grouping pretty well. Went out this morning to try a hit a couple of bunnies.Hah. Man I had forgotten how small they look when trying to hit them with a bow. Plus getting close enough to them was even harder. Closest I got to one was about 35m. Add to the fact I have stacked on a few kilos over the years didnt help walking up and down the hills. Despite not hitting anything it was great to be out in the paddocks at dawn again. I cant wait till the next time. Heres a shot of where I hunt rabbits,foxes and cats. Its literally in walking distance from my back door. Goto love that.

Close but no cigar. Its great the rabbit population has made a good come back since the calisie(spelling) virus was first released here about 12 years ago.looks like bachus marsh to me. Hehe

I am from Werribee and Colesis initially wiped out alot of rabbits where i hunt locally..............some places bounced back with many rabbits while others spots never recovered???????? It s weird
