I owned a Bushnell bow mounted range finder, but it was a poor design really, when you consider that the technology involved to make it work and then they go and stick some arctic form of sighting system on it, you could no way tell with ANY accuracy what rage you where really getting from the unit with its stone age like aiming system.

IMO you will better served with a compact range finder like the Nikon 440 or the new Leopold RX-1 or RX-II or The Bushnell range.

Spider I have to agree with Pete, I have not heard any good reports on the bow mounted model.

there was an article about bow mounted range finders in a shooter magazine but they also said that they were a lot less accurate than normal ones. i'm not a pro because i don't own one but i'd prefer a hand held one over a bow mounted.

my bow is heavy enough as it is! :P

Thanks for your replys guys, wasn't real keen on the aiming setup as stated by Peter, will go with a hand held, looking a the Bushnell pro sport. Cheers

Just for interest sake, cia.com (benson archery warehouse) have a bow mounted rangefinder on special at $399 save $300.
