Fallow Shed

Hi Guys,
New to the forum as a member, easy question to start. When do Fallow deer shed their antlers in Australia. Would they still have their racks at the moment? Also have the does drop their babies yet??

The ones where I hunt have cast. No fawns out yet.

They drop about late Oct and by the end of Now there should all be off.

Thanks Shano, where I hunt is southern new south wales, I assume you are somewhere near the Goldcoast, I don't know how much difference it would make.

Fawns start dropping then too.

I could be wrong about the ones in my area having cast then.

I saw around 17 deer last week and as a rule, given where I saw them, half would normally have been stags/spikers.

I am far from being a deer expert, would different locations affect the casting of antlers in Fallow deer?
