I've heard of the Whisker Biscuit being shot successfully using fingers (and the manufacturer claims it 'works well with fingers'). My question is, when the archer is shooting barebow, wouldn't the bikkie obstruct the archer's view of the point of the arrow, preventing aiming? Would visibility of the arrow point depend on the anchor point? Thanks,
Ant
From what I can see, this would only be an issue if you're using a gap method to aim...
If you're shooting instinctively you dont need to reference the point of the arrow anyways, as you're concentrating on the spot and not the arrow.
From my experience that's what I reckon anyways.

Yeah Luke, I was thinking of the gap shooting method.

My thinking is that this rest is not ideal at all for fingers shooting due to the very nature of arrow frequency when leaving the bow. For an arrow to fly effectively from a fingers release the frequency (dictated by spine) would be restricted by the very nature of the rest itself.
I am sure that it could be successful given time and experimentation but seems a fussy option for fingers to me.

I shoot fingers and have whisper b's on both my bows and haven't had a problem with arrow flight. They are easy to set up. In terms of sighting you could always use the top of the rest as a reference point.

I stand corrected - Never shot one myself
