Hello all,
Are there any good archery clubs in Sydney, with reasonable public transport access from the CBD that also have a strong bow hunting affiliation? The reason I ask is that I am a Victorian (yeh I know us crazy Mexican’s) stuck in Sydney’s CBD and most likely so until mid December.
Over the last eighteen months I have been mucking around with an old Miles Keller XT compound and taking some rabbits and whistling up the occasional fox around the Eildon / Mansfield area on my families and friends properties. This area I know fairly well having spent holidays fishing 4x4 driving and rabbiting my around that part of the world.
So now due to my working arrangements I find myself positioned at Kuttabul looking at Sydney Harbour all day, every day and most weekends. My car has been left back south of the border, as storage during weeks while I am at sea is too much of a hassle. However recently I have reached a certain financial enlightenment that would allow for a new bow (leaning the way of a Switchback or an Ultra-teck ect).
At the very least I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about bow hunting and the finer points of archery in general first hand. This is a hobby I would love to improve upon as I will spend the next few years at uni in Canberra and always bee migrating back to the High country areas I know and love.
Thanks for the site
Cheers
James.
