Going to go for a R-license but how do you find out what ferals are there to hunt( if there is any)
bit of a pickle... :?

Anyone had some sucess in a state forest?

ive searched the site but Im pritty sure it doesnt say what game is found in each state forest... :?

They don't list any actual species on there, you have to go and see if there's anything in there yourself.

Like all bowhunting, you have to putin the time and the km's...

What forest are you interested in. I may be able to give you a rough idea if it is on the wetern side of the great divide.

yeah central west. Im in Dubbo so the closest is around the Orange and Oberon district.

If you go to National Parks and Wildlife NSW - they list the animals found in some of the parks including feral animals.

I agree with rory you have to put the kms in but even if you dont see anything it dosent matter at least you have had a look around the area for future trips.

This national parks site lists where animals have been seen. It will show what animals have been in different areas, not to say these areas still have game there now, but it's a rough guide to places to start looking. :D

yeah I thought i would have to put in some effort, but its still worth going to checking it out... even if theres no game. :D
