It would be better to set them 20, 30, 40. You can shoot everything out to 20 with your first pin :D

i have 5 pins and set them up at 10, 20,30,40 and 50. I could probably take the 10 meter pin out but i just havn't bothered with it yet :)

20, 30, 40, 50, 60

Only use the last three for practice as I find the more practice at the longer distances the better accuracy at the shorter ones.

There is a position marked on my sight housing for the 10.

Have shot 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 pins for years but have just decided that with the flatter carbons i can get away without a 10 metre pin. Here's hoping i remember when it comes to the crunch!!

I use 1 pin set at 20 yards.
Anything either side of that i guess the distance but have only taken 1 shot further than 25 yards (at an animal). The last big billy i took was out at 40yards and smashed him through the boiler room :D so my guesstimate wasn't too bad. ( i practice longer shots on target butts but still with just the 1, 20yard pin)

I bowhunt because i love the stalk so i think long shots are kind of cheating myself out of that awesome feeling i get when only 10-15 yards away from my quary. Yet i guess a long accurate shot can be its own reward.

I took 3 pins out, so only have one set at 20m....I don't take the shot unless i can get 20m or under, i have had more luck and find it funner to sneak in on rabbits rather than shoot em from a longer distance..i will put em back i one day, 20m, 35m, 50m or something like that..

I use A trophy ridge flat liner 5 pin site. They are set on 20,25,30,40,50 meters that works well for me.

well im a crossbow shooter with a scope but i thought id put my 2 cents worth in anyways. i have a multi-range scope with additional crosshairs. the first one you sight at 20 yards, and the other ones are calibrated at 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards and they seem to be calibrated pretty accurately. this means i only have to sight it in at 20 yards in my backyard, and then all the other crosshairs hit dead on at the appropriate distances.
when i was a compound shooter a couple of years back i had a 20, 30, 40, and 50 yard pin setup.

I have a 20, 30, 40 and 50m pin set up as I use the same sight for target as I do for hunting.
