I believe my Copper John Deadnuts 5 pin sight with afterburner light is one of the toughest I have ever used.
Easily adjustable.
Bright pins.
Bright light.

I picked up a Toxonics Top Gun 3 pin sight recently.

I like the fact that it is all metal.
I like the spirit level indicator.
I like the bright round sight ring which makes it easy to acquire the whole sight picture in your peep.

I like the fact that the top pin has "glow in the dark" technology, which is claimed to increase your shooting time into dusk.
I like the fact that the gang windage and elevation adjustments do not need allen keys, but have a small screw-in post for adjustment. Be sure to take this out when shooting as it makes a lot of noise, and it WILL rattle loose and fall off eventually.
Construction, 4 out of 5, for the all-metal construction
Practicality, 4 and a half out of 5

I LOVE the fact that you can get all this in a sight for $55, from Archery Supplies. (Because i am cheap!)
Price 4 and a half out of 5. Good sight for a beginner without being cheap and nasty. Has many features of more expensive sights.

Overall, this is the third sight i have used, and is cheaper than one that seemed a lot dodgier in construction. 4 and a half out of 5 overall

P.S. The sight guard is drilled and tapped to accept a sight light that you can buy for $33.

Puk,

LocTite the posts in then they won't rattle out and they won't get lost somewhere in your shed or pack.

Thanks Warlocke,
But i actually like the fact that i can remove it. It's just one less thing to worry about on the bow, and has it's place in a little zip pocket in my bum-bag, which is always with me when i am shooting, so it is no problem really.

Puk

P.S. I keep the spare one at home for if i really stuff up and lose the other one. I would hope that i should not be adjusting my sights while out hunting anyway.

I have had a G5 LE series sight for the a while now. I got it from Gecko archery. It is a five pin sight that is micro adjustable using allen keys. Made of magnesium, it has the same strength qualities of aluminium but is a lot lighter. I have dragged it through lantana plenty of times and slipped and landed on it with no movement or adverse affect to the housing. The extended hood gives excellent protection to the pins and no fibre optics have been replaced despite the fact that the lantana usually breaks them up with aplomb.

Setting the sight up was a breeze and minor adjustments take no time as the pins move up and down on a guaranteed verticle line with the turn of an allen key. The whole sight has an easy finger screw set up for windage and height adjustments also.

The sight window has a very large aperture and allows for an excellent view of your target. The pins are extremely bright and pick up light with ease. I recommend that you get the 1/4 inch sized G5 meta peep as it was very hard to get the peep/sight alignment right without it due to the size of the aperture. Once I put the larger peep on everything was sweet.

It has a harmonic dampenern it that keep it nice and quiet. It also has a level bubble and a third axis adjustment that I haven't needed to touch.

The only thing I can fault on the sight is that the locking screws for the pins are a little week, though G5 say that there is no need to over tighten them as I did and as a result I did break one. However getting a replacement was no problem and fitting it back on was easy also.

This is one tough good looking sight that allows for accurate shooting in any light conditions. Overall I give the sight 4.9 out of 5. I couldn't give it 5 because of the screw breakage even though it was my fault. Cheers.

My son and I both use and like the Cobra King Cobra 1.

This single pin, range adjustable sight is great. Built entirely of alloy, solid construction, firm range adjustment without the need to lock it down.

Lite and quite. About $100 AUD from the US.

I have a Twilight Hunter as well, they have extremely bright pins, I like the fact that they have a large sight ring & .019" pins I find that you don't get too much clutter with the 4 pins & the fibre optics are well protected. The construction is very solid & as Johnno mentioned the light has 3 different settings, they are the brightest pins I have seen on any sight with & without the light. They cost about $150.00. For me it gets a 5 out of 5.

Ok I purchased a Timberline No Peep for less then $50 including postage from the states a month or so back and have only just gotten around to trying it out. I couldnt find an Aussie supplier.

The reason I decided to try out the no peep was after a trip away I found it very difficult to see a black pig through my peep sight in low light situations either early morning or late arvo. I was using a Super peep with a number 3 verifier as my eyes aint what they used to be. Full light, no worries. Poor light no good.
The no peep allows me to see the whole picture with out the restrictions of a small hole blocking the available light to my eye.

I found I had to mount the NP on the inside instead of between the bow and the sight as I could not get enough travel to the left from my pins.
Setting up is a bit of a pain and it took me a few go's to get it in position. My arms got a good work out bringing the bow to full draw getting the setting right.
The smallest movement of the NP makes a huge difference. Get it close then only very small adjustments are needed to fine tune.
Take your time in getting the NP to sit in your line of sight when at the most comfortable anchor point is the way to go. I tried to just get it close enough to my anchor and then move to suit the sight. Not the way to go. Set the sight to your anchor point and it makes shooting much more comfortable and consistent.
Then all it takes is to draw back, settle at your anchor, then move your eye not the bow to align the NP. Put the pin you want to use on the target and sight it in.
After a week of practice I would say it has improved my groupings to be more consistent as it makes you put your eye in exactly the same spot every time and if you hold the bow differently with your hand it shows up by not letting you align up the NP at you anchor point.

Maybe not for everyone but I would recommend it to anyone having trouble with peeps and low light.
