yeh yeh coach - i'll wear a paper bag next time just for you
sparra its a 60lb bow - is a low head a sign of poor form? - i was a little tired at the stage that pic was taken - i had been drwing the bow constantly before that because i couldnt get to the range. (i was struggling a bit by the time the missus actually took the pic) :o

Not necessarily, some people bend that far forward they nearly fall over, you consistantly hitting the mark? if not, could be any number of things.

I know what books & experts say & I believe what they say (the real ones) is correct, but they will also tell you that you may find you vary from what is regarded as the "correct" way. So...IMO Brian, try different things, keeping in mind, anchor, release, don't strangle the bow, bow tuned, the things that must be done and experiment with others. :)

So....Who's form is right & who's is wrong :?: If according to ?? my form is wrong & theirs is right but I consistantly defeat ??, who should change form. I would agree that everyone should be shown / taught the supposed correct way, but it ain't set in stone. :D

I am by no way an expert on form but 1 of the best shots i have seen with a longbow recurve is Allan podlich a lot of the older guys will no his record in the bush.his form is nothing that would ever get put a text book, but he does the same thing shot after shot which is the key and he is unbelievable to see shoot. Can put a lot of sighted shooters to shame shooting 80# traditional gear.

I know about and agree with all that you have said about Allan Podlich, I also reckon he'd give the blind ones a run for their money
