View Full Version : New bow
Got my new toy during the week.Only shot it a bit today and it is fantastic.
I didnt adjust a thing, didnt even check brace height and it shot the carbons for my longbow sweet. Its 63 pound @ 28 and is very smooth to draw and shoot.I will take some better pics when I have some more light.

What breed is it mate, I like the look. Is that the new boomerang, send it over

Send it over yer right.
Its a Robertson Stykbow Falcon 4 short riser version.
He only makes bows to order but if a bow comes up a pound or 2 under or over what a customer orders he puts them in stock and I just loved the look of the ebony in the riser I have not seen that before. It came in five days from the day of order.

Very nice bow Kim, I really like the timber combination, if she shoots half as good as she looks it will be a performer...Glenn...
That is one beautiful looking bow mate I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
Cheers Emu

Man those colours make a great combination in that bow.I have one of the original Montana Falcons and also one of the new SR Vision Falcons and cannot fault the qaulity and shootability of these things. Also cannot say enough about the man also.
Cheers, Fenton.
Yer Fenton he is great to deal with.It came in five days from when I ordered it even after I managed to wake Vikki his wife at 2 am
I got a bit of a suprise as I was not expexting the matt finish but it does contrast really nice and it feels very compact with the short riser.
I think this one is a keeper thats for sure.
Cheers KIM
How many pounds did it cost old chap$$$
And when do you expect to be putting some pictures up of its first hunt.
Adam
Well Adam old chap about 1400 clams on the doorstep.I have just been shooting it for about an hour and think that it was money well spent.
It feels tighter some how than any other recurve I have owned has no hand shock and is whisper quiet shooting very flat out to 25.On the hunting trip I am thinking in the next couple of weeks.I have also bought a new Brinkman smoker and am keen for some roasts to do in it.
Adam did you order yours custom or from someone else?
Cheers KIM
Someone else mate, Dead keen to see the bow in some hunting pictures and looks well worth the clamage. Shorter riser bigger limbs is a good design, yes.
