Just a heads up regarding the upcoming Trophy Takers Annual Awards to be held on the Oct Long weekend (for NSW/ACT anyway). This year we are holding it at the Shallow Crossing Camp Ground via Batemenas Bay, on the South Coast of NSW (details http://www.trophytakers.org/NewsPage.htm).
The weekend will be a relaxed affair, with emphasis being put on catching up with a few bowhunting mates, and telling a few stories around the campfire. The Campgrounds are right on the Clyde River, so there are plenty of fish in the river and maybe a few critter in the surrounding forests if you hold a NSW R-Licence (but dont forget to book with the Game Council). It is also about 25 mins into Batemans Bay if you want to go there for a look and maybe a swim at the beach!
There are a couple of 'formal' parts to the weekend, these being the AGM to be held on the Sunday lunchtime at 2pm, then the Awards presentations that evening. We hope to have some hanging space for trophies (horks/tusks and antlers, but maybe not mounted heads) and also some tables for photo's, and photo albums.
YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A TT MEMBER TO COME ALONG, ALL INTERESTED PEOPLE ARE WELCOME.
If you want more info or intend to come along, then can you please let me know by PM or email info@trophytakers.org, just so we can get an idea of numbers.
Thanks guys, it should be a good weekend.
