There's a good chance that most of you on here already are aware that Urban Archery (www.urbanarchery.com.au) (owned and operated by Marcus Anear- administrator of Archery Forum (www.archery-forum.com), good friend and technical assistant of TBGA) has now opened a retail shop.

After 3 years Urban Archery have opened their first retail outlet. Now you can purchase from Urban Archery in person during regular business hours and browse the range of stock in the showroom.

Opening Thursday the 21st of September trading hours will be
Monday: 10am to 3:45pm
Monday Night @ DVA: 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Tuesday: 10am to 5pm
Wednesday: 10am to 5pm
Thursday: 10am to 8:30pm
Friday: 10am to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 12:30pm

The shop is situated at
25 Beewar St
Greensborough VIC 3088

If you are coming via the Western Ring Road here is how you get there:

Travel to the end of the Fwy and turn off by turning Right onto the Greensborough Hwy. Move into the left lane
First set of lights will be the Grimshaw St Intersection.
Turn Left into Grimshaw St and head into the Right Lane
Turn Right at the Red Rooster into Greensborough Rd
Take the Second Left (Senton rd)
Take the Second Right (Beewar st)
It is then on your RH side with the Blue frontage.

Called in today and met Marcus,
I had not met him before yet he had the time to stand and talk with me discussing different topics related to archery in general,urban Archery will be getting a lot of my business in the future

Aaaah so you're the Andrew that was in there...I was chatting with him online when you walked in and he said you mentioned the site and your name. I just didn't put two and two together ;)

If he had have said "robbbo" I would have clicked sooner.

I just didn't want to admit to anyone I was talking to Luke, ;) :) :lol:

Look forward to meeting more of the TBGA crowd. Also if there are products you like and want us to carry please let me know, no point me carrying stock no one buys.

Thought I would drop in today as I was passing.
It is refreshing to talk a shop keeper who has a good knowledge of archery and Marcus was most helpful with some technical issues I was dealing with.
I made a few purchases and will add those to my spare part kit.
It's great to have a archery store this side of the city.

About time vic got a decent archery shop.A friendly atmosphere goes a long way.Which is hard to say for the other guys in vic.When we first started archery my whife was told by one of the other outlets,her forearms were to short.Still trying to find a streching rack anyone know of any!!!!!!!!!Good luck with the shop i can't see you going anyway but up... :lol:
