Good Days Hunting!

My mate daniel and I went hunting at our usual spot last sunday. For a change we got up at 430 and walked in there before dark to try and improve our chances of getting A fallow deer. We saw 8 deer in the first hour and i had one duck my arrow. we had stalked up on them and got about 20m away, but then a roo barked and stuffed up the show. I still managed a shot but the doe hit the deck and my arrow just skimmed its back. we still managed 7 goats between us for the day, Daniel with 4 and i got 3. we saw some good billies but had no luck with them. pitty the helechopter is coming this wednesday to cull them :cry:

This is a billy i shot on the run from 10m out a creek bed Daniel shot the brown billy(picture after the black billy) from 20m out of the same mob.

We walked into a mob of nannies and shot these two. I shot the white one from about 20m and daniel shot the brown one from about 15 they diddnt go far!

This billy was in a mob of about 40. There were some nice heads there but the cover was to thick 2 get a shot at them so this white one was all i managed. There was a massive shaggy grey goat that would hav been in the mid 30's but now he's most likley gonna be shot my the helechopter! :cry:

This is at the water it was in the 30's so we went for a dip!

Thats about it we ended up seeing about 120 goats and it was a gr8 trip!

Thanks Glenn Its good to be getting into some. I just hope there will be some goats left after the chopper. If not looks like I«ÉŸm going to have to concentrate on the deer. Mozza I Hunt in SA couple hours from Adel. I saw a few rubs and we think we heard one deer grunting but I don«ÉŸt think the rut has set in yet with the deer.
