View Full Version : Woodys on woods?
This has probably been discused before  and if it has can someone post the link to it because i cant find it  but how would you go about putting woodies broadheads on wooden arrows? thanks for ignoring my ignorance
Woody doesn't make a trad head but you can get adaptors that glue on to the woods and then you can screw in whatever head you like...
Is there anyone in Australia that sells these?
i got mine from Archery Supplies in Canberra but most archery stores should have them...
Cool thanks. I was hopping i'd be able to use woodies as i havent heard a bad thing about them :D
You could make your own adaptors, find an alloy shaft size that slips neatly over your woods, cut 40mm sections of alloy shafts, and glue carbon inserts into them.
Glue the home made adaptors onto your woods and your good to go. The woods may have to be cut the length of the carbon inserts shorter to keep your draw length the same, 8)
