yer i would love to set one of these cams in this gully/flat i know of i recon you would get heaps of pics of deer how often do they take photos and does the flash soke the deer
because you would think that sambar would bolt after the flash goes off

iam not quite sure but iam pretty sure they are movement activated. I think it probly would freak it out if it was night. But then again it would depend on teh animal

Steve- can't recall which trail cam you had. Refresh my memory. Also, the photo looks great. In general, how is it performing?

mine is heat and movement activated and can be set to go off every 15sec out to once every 1hr ,I dont know what effect the flash has but it would have to make them very alert at the very least you would have to set it so it goes off every 15sec and see if they hang around for a second photo . Im not sure of the brand exactly (Im on mums computer at the minute) but will find out it was about 90 dollars american from cabelas,(model was dc somthing deer cam)these are my first pics, I have since moved the camera to a different wallow as there were hunters in that area and the wallow dried up so hopefully I will get some better ones next time I think i will leave it there abit longer to (approx 4 weeks this time)
