Lapping it Up

Work work and more work, but somehow I managed to flick a lure around and spend some time on the islands.

Last sunday I spent half the day fishing with my father in my new boat, I reckon we landed 50 odd stunning fishing, from coral trout to big mackeral 90% catch and release. Absolutly amazing fishing. But this guy is the best fish I have landed off the rocks this month, a meter long Queenfish and boy did he put on a air display.

Nice stuff Adam. Very unique goat there mate. I see you're throwing lures about. Those big queenies certainly go hard, especially from the rocks. Great catch.

Nice skinny. I remember nearly being pulled out of a boat by one of them when I was a we tacker.

Now your making me really jealous, my job has taken me to a spot at the top of the mountains three times in a row and the boats just wasting away…. Oh well come Christmas, Awoonga here I come.

Here's a picture of a medium size macky that busted on a lure. There were a few hanging around the boat while fishing the bottom last saturday.

Hi barebow, yeah mate thats my personal favourite photo. Hunting with offspring really adds so much more to the hunt again. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, many a hunting trips to come.
