cable and string replacement ?

Hi anybody who might no HOW OFTEN to replace string cables and the string itself could you please tell me thankyou. I got my bow in july 2006 if that is anyhelp thankyou. :D

When the string is showing signs of wear usually on the serving around the cams.

If the string needs waxing more often than usual to keep all the strands together or the peep keeps moving after being in a constant position for a while.

A continually moving peep, if you use a Fletcher Tru peep or similar, usually shows a broken strand in the string.

Some people change their strings every year regardless of wear.

Factory recommendations are about two years of normal use.
