The reaction/behaviour of the members of this animal rights forum demonstrate the real truth underlying the extreme end of the animal rights movement. These people are not about loving/protecting animals but hating/controlling people.

Jacob,
I have placed a "space" between "www." and the rest of the URL as I do NOT wish these people to be able to back track a feeder link to TBGA.

should anyone wish to view the website, cut and paste the URL into your browser and remove the space.

cheers

I cannot believe forums that celebrate human deaths are allowed to operate!

Surely this must be reportable to some authority?

I cant help but feel pity for people like that. They can't think outside the square or accept others for who they are.

Especially the one talking about animals having loved ones... The tendancy of people to anthropomorphise emotions is a big problem. That's where it starts. Then they get frustrated when others with a more open understanding of things don't accept their view and then they get malicious.

They themselves are exibiting a more primal urge of "What doesn't agree with me is my enemy. What is my enemy should die" - Which actually takes civilisation back a rung IMO.

Cheers,

Richie.

I just think that if they want to see the biggest selfish cruel killer in the world, many of them should look at their avatars, and felix catus that they have in them. I wonder if they feel sorry for the mice, birds, lizards, snakes, and their "families and loved ones".

It is the double standard that bugs me. They somehow feel as though they have a right to be judge, jury and executioner over anyone who disagrees with them, yet they don't see the incongruence of their views with owning a ruthless, efficient killer. And this after saying that animals are not property to be owned. Go figure.

as for vegetarians, can't they hear the carrots scream?
Just tell them that next time they open their mouths, they should try and explain what those four pointy teeth are for......

They say Hitler was a Vegetarian and look at how many people he killed. Just reading some of their comments makes the hair stand up on my neck, they have no feelings for other human beings who disagree with their sick perverted views and hold up animals as being above people.

But the most scariest thing is some of these people are in positions of power and are able to also influence celebrities to join their cause without thinking. And this is what we all have to fight against if we are to preserve our right to hunt, but not just hunt but to also be able to eat meat because if they get their way we all will be come Vegetarians.

Then it will be the Vegetarians against the Vegans etc etc what a bloodbath that will be. LOL

Old topic but thought I'd post.

I am actually involved in the Animal Welfare (not rights, completely different) movement, and once you get past Peta and the RSPCA and those 'groups' you'll actually find people would rather you hunt than buy meat from the supermarket - generally. That's what I've found anyway.

Midol,

Yours is an interesting comment. I've seen this myself, particularly in conversation with self-professed "animal lovers". After the initial 'disgust' about hunting these people often express the view "at least the animal [that was hunted] was free and happy before it died, unlike like domestic cattle/pigs etc."

Further, from what I understand of the Animal Welfare movement (vs the Animal Rights movement), I suspect that there is more common ground between Animal Welfare and the Bowhunting/Hunting Community than either side realises, particularly in relation to the treatment and care of domestic animals/pets.

Very narrow dogmatic view if they can't show tollerence towards our chosen lifestyle and compassion to those lost then they should be given no mercy when judgement is placed apon them.

Sorry i have no time of day for those who forcefully push their beliefs on other people when everyone has the right to think and believe what they want
