Or anyone else who can help.
I am looking at a Samick recurve to go with my long bow and am looking at a top end Samick, any opinions would be great.I draw about 30 inches so need one thats not going to stack to bad.
Thanks in advance........Cheers KIM

Kim,
As a rule, longer is less likely to stack, but there is also the string angle off the the curve that comes into play (now we're gett'n technical)

At a 30" draw (2"over) IMO, longer is better, as you get beyound 28" ("factory" bow rating) = more pounds, could stack out to quite a few more pounds, longer = smoother at the back end of draw.

Certainly I would recommend a minimum 60" bow, 62" even better :D

Just as an example, bear in mind if your ability to draw is a limit of 60#, you draw 30", a non custom made bow is rated at 28", you should be buying a bow of 50# to keep you close to 60#. 55# IMO will take you over the 60#

The Samick, I know Humphrey wasn't impressed as much as he was with the Martin, I personally would also buy a Martin (the above still applies), that's only a taste thing with me, I know of plenty that are very impressed with the Samicks, & have no problems.

As has been said a million times before, be nice if you could pull a couple back before you decide, might not just be stack, might be the whole feel of the bow, but if not, read up & go with ya gut feel'n :)

Sorry if I've added to much here, but don't know your experience, hope I've helped :)

Kim..

I have a spare Samick Mind 30 but it is so well trained that I would have to charge a arm & a leg for it...

I've lost count on how many kills it has and I just don't think I could buy another bow like it with that much experience...

Or then again when the Widow turns up I may just have to part with her...

55lb Condition as rough as guts but loves blood...
