That's a wierd name from the Yanks, given medically they use the term epinephrin and not adrenaline

im up for a new bow this year and have been eagerly waiting to see what mathews puts out. it's a hard decision between the switchback and drenalin for me, they are so close in specs and performance.
i dont see why limb pockets a such a critical feature. i think the standard pocket is just to give people peace of mind and because they've always been done the same.
'pulse' would have been a cooler name i reckon.

7" brace height !

I'm sticking with my XT's for a while till I squeeze one of these sucker's in my hand.

Start talking that money the Prestige is looking very appealing, it cracks 322 fps @ 29"

How is it better than the XT, I want to know! Glad I ended up keeping mine. Need all those Drenalin specs and features in something with a straighter riser and higher brace height.

Is it just me (quite possibly) but Mathews bring out a new bow, just change the limb config and then say tadah new 2007 bow. What is the major considerable change with this bow vs. an Xt?
I think next year your will see a Dernalin with streamers from the Cam saying the new Ladies bow.

what i dont like about mathews is their one cam system and its inherant problem of string stretching and shrinkage depending on temperature.
Thats a new one on me. Never heard it before.

Have to agree with Yanky, one thing with the Mathews, when they are made and put together, they stay that way!!!!
I am not biased in the Bow Brands, however in the Mathews Vs. Hoyt department, Mathews ***** Star.

all bows are affected by temperature (string stretching and shrinking) to some degree. 2 cam bows just stretch more uniformly and so arrow P.O.I remains pretty much the same. one cam bows stretch more one way, hence, affecting accuracy somewhat. its obviously not a huge problem. but every bit of performance/accuracy helps.

mathews are a great bow. if i suddenly didnt like hoyt, mathews would be my next choice. maybe.... :D

If stretching strings and cables are of concern to you (regardless of bow make) why not just get a good quality after market pre stretched string as many archers do, myself included.

Not sure if I agree with you there, a two cam bow has 3 sets of strings compared to 2 for a single cam bow thus more to go out of wack with 3 strings compred to two. With two cam bows if the cams are not synchronized
properly or are even a little bit out off synch you wont get level nock travel. No such problems with a single cam bow regardless of string creep.
